Yeah but trucks in general havent ever really be a popular collectors item until recently. I know VPW has been around a long time and some of you have been collecting PW's for ever but trucks were used for work and then the old truck got stuck out back for the occasional run to the city dump and then finally it sat in its spot for 20 years until it was time to haul it off. This has been were most of us show up! ;)

Muscle cars in the 70's were very cheap to buy and even in my high school days of the mid 80's you could pickup a muscle car for a decent price.

I think with the craze of the new Ram in 94 the older dodge trucks have become popular.

I have lived in my small town for 26 years and from a Mopar stand point Theres 1 1969 Dodge Daytona, a few Hemi's and just a small amount of old muscle cars. There are no flat fender PowerWagons in this town. Theres only been one I ever seen and that guy no longer has it. So that tells me right there the PW is a very rare piece. And I know these are tough trucks and after 50+ years there are trucks out there still working just fine but lets face it 50+ years is a long time. I have seen a lot of wore out trucks for sale for good prices on the internet. I've seen a lot of PW's modified for a specific duty on the internet.....so ad it up

50+ years old and could be wore out
Modified - meaning things were added or cut or removed for a certain duty....
Being a very rare truck with a legendary back ground.......

You bet the flat fender power wagon is gonna go up in price. Its just a little late in the game compared to the other old classics. No body loved an old pickup they loved the 57 Chevy, The Ford Tbird, Plymouth Fury the Hemi the GTO the Mustang...........

I just hope I get one before they are all so expensive I cant afford to get one.

Todd
