The trophys represent prior judging by people who really know these cars and are not just reliving their youth, going on an ego trip, or whatever makes these cars go for that much money. Sure the prices are extreme, but a lot of work, numbers matching etc. goes into it to determine originallity, correctness and'value'. Most of the higher prices were for original unrestored vehicles. ...Now an original unrestored dump truck, driven every day, that would be worth....
