#6 piston came out of the 230 engine on my parts truck (V-41). When I dug through all the schrapnel in the oil pan I could only find one wrist pin clip!, so I believe the pin backed out and from what I've seen in the engine it looked like it had just been rebuilt. When it failed it went right through the block via the high pressure oil galley and judging from the very scored bearings the driver kept going till the very end.
