Actually, my '49 B1PW isn't totally stock. It has a 218 cubic inch engine instead of the stock 230. This is one that Steve Wataha built for me over 10 years ago, and will run with any 230. I feel that the shorter stroke gives me a slight edge by being able to rev it just a little higher without risking damage to the bottom end. It also runs as smooth as a sewing machine. You are welcome to use my photos as screensavers. My screensaver is a photo of John Eickhof's truck going down the Launch Pad on the Golden Spike Trail with my truck just visible at the top of the photo. It looks like John's truck is absolutely vertical in that photo. The Launch Pad will pull your drawstring pretty tight the first time you go up it.
