OK, I've got a 4BT (105hp@250rpm, 286lb-ft@1700rpm) in a '53M37.

Engine is smoother running than the 6.2 in the trucks at the NCNG armory down the street from my office.

I have a Ranger OD (0.73:1) between the engine and the original transmission, 4.89 gears, and lockers. Currently have a set of 900x16 tires on it, only use 1st gear when I really want to go slow... Have a set of 1100r16XL to put on when the current tires die...

Often run 75mph down the highway, but like to keep it in the 65-70mph range in order to improve on milage. 70mph gets me 17mpg. I can spin the tires in soft stuff, but I prefer to idle over obstructions.

I do have a set of Ray's disc brakes on the front.

Email me for more info, or look at my webpage...
