My July 1955 Parts List #D-15439 shows Model C-1-F6 as having either a 129 or a 153 inch wheelbase. The engineering code is T342. The "F" in the model number designates the truck as being rated as a 1-1/2 ton. It should have a 230.2 6-cylinder engine.

This parts list shows 14 different possible rear axles used on trucks for the 1955 model year. However, only one is listed for the "F" models, and this was also shared with the heavier rated G, H, FM, and HM models.

It is described as follows:

"Hypoid. GEAR RATIOS AVAILABLE: 5.625, 6.285, 6.833. GEAR RATIO LOCATION: Left side of differential carrier (drivers side) between center attaching bolts. REMARKS: Housing cover is bolt on, removable type. Filler plug located at center of axle housing cover. Drain bolts are the bottom housing cover bolts."

Elsewhere in the book are listed 12 cover bolts and it is shown as being a single speed axle and having a 2 pinion differential.

Unlike the axles for the bigger trucks, with 2-2peeds, and/or welded on covers, this axle does not have a model number listed in the book. The picture in the book is a 3/4 view from the driver's location focusing on the carrier. I can see if I can get a scan over the weekend and send it to you if you like.
