if you look closely, you will notice there is no glass or windscreen on the truck, the interior shots ere actually done in studio with fans blowing on the acors hair to simulate motion, this was normal when shooting driver closeups, etc as there would be reflections and glare that would effect the shot, the same goes for eyeglasses, in older films they have no lenses in them for the same reason
