I am using the alternator kit from VPW. It is a three wire alternator. Stud post on back is (+) terminal to battery side of the solenoid. Then there is a plastic clip with two spade connectors on the side of the alternator (assuming this is the voltage regulator connector). This connector has a a #10 Red wire that is connected to the stud post on the back of the alternator and then there is the white wire that is shown to go the (+) side of the ignition coil.
