They don’t care. They can’t see you standing in front of them so you don’t exist.
I have been battling a medical supply company that thinks I am an idiot and don’t know anything. They put me on autopay with out asking and got an ear full over that. They backed down. I have used them for 14 years and they now assume that I don’t know what I am doing and are treating me like a kid. I suspect it is the new parent company putting their stamp on the local company which has treated me very well until recently.
It is sort of like my Medicare annual checkup last year. I have never been so upset. They assumed that I was totally invalid and had no brain left. It was so different that previous checkups. The dr said he had no choice and that’s what he was required to do. I guess when you hit 70 your considered incapable of anything.
