M-37 Style NP-420 Shaft Retaining Ring

These buggers seem to break a bit, causing hard shifting at first, and, according to Charles Talbert among others, severe damage if not corrected. I have determined that they are actually called "LC Rings" and are primarily useful because they are balanced. They are also a pain to secure.

I don't have my transmission apart now to measure the shaft, but I thought that this might help people get started on their search.
