you can not have enough grounds on a mopar of any vintage has been my experience. I have been building Mopar muscle for 30 years and recently moved on to PWs. 90% of the time if you have electrical problems the fix for me was getting proper grounds. grounding through the frame was a good idea when the steel was new with no corrosion. once the rust worm gets at it for a few years, you have to get back to bare steel to get good grounds
