Thanks Bob. I started to do just that, and it's now clear that the adjuster is seized in the brake shoe. So i guess I can take the shoe out with the adjuster in it, and then drive it out. Alternatively, can I take the clip and seal/washer out on the wheel side, and then try driving it out from that side to loosen it up?
