Very sad news indeed, the Power Wagon community has lost a great man. My condolences to Steve and the rest of the family.
Paul and I had a wonderful time at the Power Wagon Rendezvous many years ago in Lake City, CO. We drove his WC-51 weapon carrier on the Alpine Loop, over both Cinnamon Pass (12,640') and Engineer Pass (12,800'). Just below Engineer we parked it against a 8' high cut in a snow bank and I took a photo of Paul behind the wheel, to help him cool off in the hot Texas days to follow. :) He had an easy going manner and was an absolute charmer. Warm memories of our fun times together will live on in my mind forever. Miss you, Paul!
