I have converted my '47 WDX from 6v to 12v. I am running a P7127m-9 alternator, a 12v starter chrysler #1689338, a 12v coil with internal resistor. I do have a ballast resistor but it is not hooked up. The starter solenoid in the truck is the original 6V. It has the number 84 stamped on the back. I know I have started and run the truck as is. Do I need to replace the solenoid with a 12v? The PIF has multiple diagrams for doing this conversion. I am not sure which one to follow. I see 2 different solenoids on the diagrams...a SS567 and a SS566. Which would apply to my setup? Any help with this is much appreciated. Thank you
