I used wheel bearing grease I get in a 5 Lb can its red colored and I put on plastic gloves and pack the housing good and put it together. And like Vaughn says clean the bolts and don't use a air wrench,and torque the bolts to specs. I drilled a hole in the bottom plate and tapped them for a grease fittings and give the lower bearing a couple squirts every time I grease the truck
