always test batteries with a load tester after removing cables. replace batteries in pairs.... i have a boat that has a simple battery starting system. turn key, click click click. load test battery, good. jump solenoid on starter, boat starts. change out starter for a known good rebuilt. install. click, click click.... after much checking found a SECOND solenoid hidden, but inline with the battery system! Always check check check as a new vehicle or boat to you has secrets in store. especially a fire truck!!!!!
