From the video it looks like a decent tool, but I think the "claw" is going to chew up the face of the rim a bit. That may not be a problem with an old rim, but not ideal on a nice painted rim. But then again, a nice painted rim has probably been serviced more recently, so the tool might not be needed to break the bead.
