The M37 is a good riding truck, a little challenging with the electrics. You may want to get a hard top for it if you experience a lot of rain in your area. A slow moving vehicle sign helps to alert drivers and really makes a difference when you're out on the highway - see link. I don't use the sign around town, but do when I get out on the open road. He'll be able to cruse at 55mph on the road which is plenty of speed for that type of truck.
