If you have installed a one belt alternator that uses the 3/8 wide pulley and you experience battery drain, the belt may be slipping on the alternator pulley. You can check this by placing your hand on the alternator, and then on the alternator fan. If the alt. fan is hot, the belt is slipping even though the belt doesn't squeal. We experienced this on Marcel's M37 where it only had one belt. We order a double "V" alternator pulley and added another belt. Problem solved. See link image and company we order it from.
