Sorry to hear about that Tom. I can't imagine the pain seeing your wife disabled like that. I suspect your would still be working if you could. And I'm sure she really appreciates your support.
I was forced into retirement because of serious health issues, and I know how it hurt my wife when I was rolled off for three different surgeries.
You are doing the right thing. You will be glad for what you did.
