When I picked-up Neil at his home before the Parade he was a bit befuddled and unsure of what was going to happen, he had some difficulty getting in our PW, but was helped by members of his family to get comfortable.
After an hour with him, through the parade, meeting with all of the folks who came out, he became much more aware of his surroundings and began asking questions about the truck and how we came to own and restore it.
By the time we got back to his house he was very animated and when we arrived, he grabbed the door handle to open it and began to get out of the truck, like he would have 60-70 years ago.
No, I didn't let him JUMP out of the truck, But he wanted too!!
I am very glad I was able to "Make His Special Day"
