Running Rt 500, Trans Labrador Highway, just before Labrador City, NL I saw Miss Cindy II sitting in a clearing by a rail crossing. I looked her over very well. I wanted to take her home with me so badly. I knew the Cummins Carryall would pull the trailer without snorting.
On arriving in Labrador City, I made some inquires of who owned her. The people I talked with, all told me to forget buying Miss Cindy II. The owner uses it every winter, it would be like selling his first born son. With that info, and on a schedule, I did not pursue any further buying Miss Cindy II.
It was in beautiful condition. All the way home many of my thoughts were having her on a trailer behind my Carryall. And in reality, if one knew where to look, there are probably others in a barn on Northern Canada. Just waiting to be adopted.
