i thought getting a usps package was federally protected like a letter. if packages are not protected, the usps should seek to establish that protection. being able to choose usps when you make a purchase would bolster the usps business which is failing. a competitive advantage to be sure. i can imagine usps ads showing package thieves getting pinched, cuffed and stuffed....
