I don't have any first hand experience but look at Rockland Standard Gear in new York. They have a 5 speed tranzilla that sounds appealing. They also have a 6 speed but I couldn't figure out the available ratios. I currently have a close ratio t19 with double transfer cases and I like the street manners. I often found with a wide ratio np435 that the 2-3 shift was just too far apart and first was useless with a 4bt on road. The close ratio is much better for street with the small rpm range. Of course my truck isn't made for on road which is why I stuck with a 4 speed but I drive it around on back roads enough to want good driving up to 45 or so.
I do have a Rockland tcase housing on my chevy tow rig and it is a nice piece shipped quickly. I can't say yet if it completely eliminated the pump wear problem but 45k and been good so far.
