The ZF-S5-42, 5 speed is a good tranny. In the standard version, it will bolt right up to a Ford/Cummins Flywheel Housing Adapter. Use caution if you buy one. Note in the picture, the top two bolts that bolt to the Ford/Cummins Flywheel Housing Adapter are 5.125" CC.
There is a heavy duty version of the ZF-S5-42 used behind the large diesels. The heavy duty
bell bolt pattern is very different. Adapters are crazy expensive crazy.
