- You tried priming the engine by pouring a little fuel down the carb, tried to start it, and engine did not attempt to start?
- Does the truck have a distributor filter (noise suppressor)?
- Have you by-passed the filter?
- Does the truck have a radio interference filter (noise suppressor)?
- Have you by-passed the filter?
- If you hold a spark plug wire ¼ inch from head, does the spark jump ¼ to 3/8ths of an inch, if so adequate for starting.
You replaced the ignition distributor and fuel pump. By priming the engine, that will isolate the problem to either a fuel or an ignition issue. Let us know what you find out after working through the above.
