OK! Will make it a lot easier. I have a slight kink in the front angle which is causing the drum to bind. I put the unit in in pieces but it was still a bear. It looks like only 6 bolts and it should lift out.
The driveshaft has been cleaned and fitted and greased and the keys placed. Should just slide right up to it. Hahaha, right!

BTW, are there arrows on the winch drive shaft that have to be aligned? I have not been able to find any.
