This is nothing to fool with. People run the risk of inadvertently infecting one another by so many different ways. Seemingly healthy people can be given the virus. People with compromised immune systems due to age, or pre-existing health concerns are at major risk.
We have a friend who has a form of cancer in her bone marrow. This has led her to kidney failure, which requires Dialysis 3 times a week. She also receives a chemo shot once a week. It's a very stressful life, and she is only in her 50s.
I am 77, and I have annual CT scans and biannual blood work. I will skip the scan this summer, and hope for the best, rather than risk getting exposed to the COVID-19.
It really is disturbing that some feel we old ones and unhealthy ones should be willing to sacrifice ourselves for the sake of the economy. Please forgive my rant, but this is causing a lot of anxiety on a lot of levels.
