Modern drums are labeled with the max diameter. This was not done when the WM300s were made. So there is no stated maximum. I do not think that anyone on this forum would give you a maximum id with all the liability associated with it. My suggestion is to find a brake expert in your town and work with him. Be sure to give him the drums and hubs as matched sets. They will be able to do a much better job of turning your drums. You might look for a place that works on trucks as they are more likely to have appropriate equipment.

In my opinion, the best thing to do is to convert to disk brakes. I know it is not a cheap option but it is much safer. Look at Ray's disk brake conversion kits. They are excellent and I have done one conversion so far. I would also suggest converting to a 2 reservoir master cylinder. Ray also has a converion available.
