Power Wagons are the same as anything else, you get what you pay for. Better models are going to cost more money and give a much better foundation for restoration. Low dollar models are parts trucks OR will require many thousands of dollars to restore.
Its supply and demand. I have a lot of bucks invested in my PW that I am restoring.
It is NOT for sale, nor would I consider selling it. But for the sake of discussion, if it were for sale the price would reflect the condition and the work that has been done. The 10K dollars would seem cheap.
The best advice I could give anyone wanting to get a PW to restore is to buy the best you can afford. One way or the other you will spend some big bucks. So why not start out with a good foundation.
