'49 frame will work for WDX. You may have some clearance issues with a RH PTO with the transfer case levers and hand brake. I have a Braden M-3 Winch that came out of the bed of a WDX. The same set up as you are talking about doing. It uses the rear output shaft on the LH PTO. Whichever winch you are not using you just disengage the clutch at the winch. I will trade you all the hardware, Driveshaft, and winch for your spare MU-2 if it's in good shape. I'm in Washington State.
