Country Journal, May 1987, Pages 28 - 33. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. The father of my son's college friend made a copy of the May 1987 Country Journal for me when he saw our '46 WDX Serial Number 83900062 being used at a November 1987 pep rally at Texas A&M University.
I certainly cannot challenge your statement about the date of a 1987 PWA article. My oldest issue is November 1988. I wish I had all the back copies of PWA. I first subscribed in January 1991. I bought all available back issues a few years ago. A while back someone sold their entire collection as a single item at a price I could not afford at the time.
