Are the 251 and 265 head gaskets the same ?
The reason I ask is one of the head gasket manufactures is making a modern gasket for some guy running a big horsepower 265 . If the gaskets interchange you would probally have more luck with a modern gasket. If they interchange post a message on the inliners forum and you might get lucky.
