I wouldn't mind going to a synthetic oil. I have been running detergent for some time. But mine leaks a bit and burns a bit and I heard that synthetics will leak out or burn out 10 times faster due to their ability to slip past the rings and find previously undetected holes in the gaskets. Add to this the fact that I haven't seen a PW yet that doesn't leak unless its out of oil.
