I think these old Dodges, especially the ex-military ones, were such work horses no one cared about how the wiring looked as long as they ran. My old M-880 was an electrical nightmare! Two underdash fires and constant other electrical problems. The Army kept it running, but didn't worry about factory specs!! If fixing something meant cutting the ends and running a whole different wire, while leaving the old stuff there, they did it. I told folks that under the dash, and even under the hood, it all looked like someone had a spaghetti fight under there! Or a mass of cobwebs running all over the place! Good luck with the wiring!
