The only usable wiring on my M37 was the wire from the battery to the starter. Everything else was gone. I redid it in a quick and unauthentic way but it works. My 65 D200 is still a mess despite putting in an aftermarket gas and temp gage. Wipers cut out after a minute or two, lights work randomly, gas gage hardly ever works. Various wires look like they got real hot sometime and things have been spliced in ways that make no sense at all. So yes, I understand your frustration! It seems like it took Dodge a couple extra decades to figure out how to make electricity work in a truck. They sure did a fine job on the mechanicals, though.
