Desoto 276 or 291 both offered in '54.
Desoto offered 276,291,330,341 and 345 hemi's.
Dodge offered 241,270,315 and 325 hemi's.
Chrysler offered 331,354 and 392 hemi's.
As you can see the 3 manufactures did not
share any cubic inch size or parts interchange.
The only thing they all did share was the bolt
pattern on the back for the bell housing.
