Last week I "won" at auction a '53 M101 A1 3/4 ton trailer from GovPlanet at Ft. Carson CO. It wears the same 9 x 16 Budd wheels as a PW. Even has decent SuperLug tires on it. Best part is that the bed was hinged for shipping but works well for dumping. Prob. not too many of them still in the Gov. inventory but they are occasionally available. For the most part you can find them privately, around $1200 +. Problem is that the front of the bed rots if not stored properly. There is also an A2 but it does not have the PW wheels. I recently saw that MidWest Military had a restored A1 for sale.
