When installing the inner axle seal and bushing, make certain that you have the correct seal for the axle to slide through. I recently spent many hours and numerous phone calls only to realize that the NOS seals that I had for the PW/WC 3/4 ton were boxed incorrectly with the correct part number and were in fact 1/2 ton seals.
I machined a tool to drive the seal and bushing into the axle for proper fit. Compare your new parts with the take off parts.
