51 PW 5.83 gears with 230 engine and 9.00 16 tires 14mpg going 200 miles over the Cascade Mts on the freeway and 2 lane highway.
42 WC53 with 327 V8, 4.89 gears with 9.00 X 16 Michelin ZXLs gets 8 to 15 mpg hwy depending how much I keep my foot out of it. The engine is turning 3000 rpm at 60 mph which it will do all day. The engine puts 200+ hp to rear wheels. The engine has MSD electronic ignition and distributor, Edlebrock 4bbl carb and intake on 1966 high performance 327 (by 1966 standards). It has been balanced and etc. when I rebuilt it.
