So I guess you're saying that when sellers know they can't get the price they'd like, they'll have a buddy bid it up super-high, and when the auction is over, they forgive their buddy's debt, on the spot, and instead put it up for sale afterward at a much lower price, making it seem like a good deal to some other person, who will buy it at that lower price, which is still way more than it's worth, and more than the seller could have gotten in an honest attempt at an auction?
