From what I have seen, there are a good number of people who dive into a project with good intentions to restore it and one of two things happen: 1) Either they do not have the knowledge, or any idea of where to even ask the right questions, in order to determine what constitutes an accurate restoration of a particular vehicle, or: 2)They get to a certain point where they either get discouraged, burned out, or short of funds (or all three) and they cut corners and/or leave a lot of unfinished loose ends hanging, give up, and call it "restored".

There is "restored" and then there is anything other than restored. Nothing wrong with either, but one should not apply the restored tag if one is not aware of the full meaning. It may not be intentional, but it is misleading and it artificially inflates prices.
