Just a marketing gimmick by Chrysler. The compression ratio was no different than a non Spitfire head. The “Gold Seal” aluminum head had a higher CR than the stock cast iron head. I installed a 241 Chrysler “Spitfire” head on my IND-7 (236) for a bit more compression. Largest 25” Spitfire was the 265. I have a Chrysler “Gold Seal” aluminum head which has been checked and decked. May install it on the IND-7 one of these days. Just too lazy at the moment. LOL
