Hi Andrew,
We’ve been through all of this before but do not rely on paint codes to have paint match existing paint. Even if you’re painting a whole truck, I strongly recommend having a piece of the truck color matched because often these codes...let me rephrase that...almost never are the paint codes that you’re going to just have RM or whoever mix...it’s not going to be right. The tinters all change yearly & so they just don’t bother reformulating them...why? How many gallons are they going to sell?
Any good paint shop will color match paint if you bring in your glovebox door, window wiper motor cover or whatever you can bring them.
A good shop can match the color...the sheen...I mean it’s free...don’t just spray some old paint code on there...your truck will look like shat...trust me on this one. If you can’t get a paint supplier to do it...any good body shop certainly can but they’ll probably charge you something but regardless...it’s a small price to pay me thinks.
