I'll try the sources you provided. The bolt p/n you provided agrees with my info. The 265 bolt is unique to the 265. I have a set of 251 rods, and their bolts are the more conventional bolts with a flat on one side, very much like the 230 bolts and a great many bolts from other models. 230 an 251 rods can easily be modified to use aftermarket (ARP) bolts - in fact, the machinist I used on my 230 did just that. However, the 265 bolt is much different.
