I purchased a set of NOS valve springs from Bernbaum recently, for my 265. I placed Tue irder online on a Saturday evening and received them the following Thursday. No issues and a good price.
I removed the valve guides in my 230. I bought a valve guide punch (I think that's what it's called) from Goodson tools, but you might be able to do it with just a hammer and a regular drift. In fact, that might be what I did, but I don't recall now. I may have bought the valve guide punch for installation of new guides later, which I never did because I decided to go with the 265 instead. I had to hammer pretty hard on the guides, but they came out. Installation of new guides is probably better let to the pros, although you could probably do it if you are determined to do so.
