Just remember those things are designed to start today’s modern cars that have very little current draw. Think Honda, Toyota and etc. Just look at the cable size on those things. They will never start a large V8 with a dead battery. Maybe it will kick over one where the battery is just down a little.
My V8 died in a gas station, after a few minutes a guy runs over with one and says this will start you. I said I doubt it. Oh no it is the best one on the market, I made sure. Well, he walked away shaking his head as it didn’t even bump the engine at all.
