I have had good luck with a 12k on my m37. They are all roughly the same hp so the higher the rating the slower it is. Might as well have a lower rating and lots of snatch blocks. That way the winch is fast for the simple hang up or pulling side by sides out and with a couple blocks it can still get you out of a real situation. The 12k seems kind of a sweet spot for me. I actually thought the PTO winch was too fast and wished it was tcase mounted so I had some speed options. I could be wrong noe but at one point the warn 8274 was available 24v. It would look right and they are great winches with a lot of line. Little low on total capacity but again lots of line and snatch blocks.
