I am 6' 2" and have long legs. I never liked how close I sat to the door and how my left leg was stuck between the steering wheel and the door. Also, shifting the wheel over gave me more room for the hanging pedals and E-brake to sit on the left hand side of the column. I also raised the cab up and was able to flatten the floor and spread the pedals out. My plan is to use two M-37 driver seats and have it be a two seater cab. This may change. But, pedal layout and shifting the driver position away from the door was my main motivation. I also think the steering wheel is closer to the dash than stock.
