Interesting. That’s all they use in BC is salt & lots of it but I’ve still never seen a brake line rusted through from the outside. Surface rust on the outside...yes but next one you see with a pinhole...have a close look.
I’ve also seen them where the outside sink is like brand new & they’re pitted inside & sprung leaks. That’s why when I buy a vehicle with a single master cylinder, no matter what, I change all the brake lines if I don’t know when they were installed. To risky when you only have one chance :)
That said, I also embrace stainless :)
